Elisabeth is a storyteller, graphic designer, and educator, based in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Design for her is a way of building bridges and engaging with people in both her local community and the broader global community. She created this website as a way to learn about other places in the world, and share that with her students and those who are interested in visual culture. Previous projects she’s worked on include CalligraphyQalam.com, which introduces the art of Arabic, Ottoman, & Persian calligraphy to Western audiences.
